Here we go

So here it is, my very first blog. A virgin at blogging. Will anyone read it?

What should I write about? The answer to that is simple, anything and everything.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, which is what I intend to do. Of course it is only my opinion and does not mean it is right or wrong. I try and see things as they are. I am not an expert, or an academic, just an average Joe, trying to earn money, get on in life, and importantly, be a good father and husband

We live in a world where several things dominate how people think and see. To name a few, religion, money, greed, jealously, selfishness and of course pure evil. Why do people do what they do. What makes a person want to blow up others and themselves in the name of religion. or want to take children and rape women. I am sure there are many studies trying to answer just those questions. So if there is then, why haven't they come up with a way of preventing this. Of course there may never be an answer or a cure. What we don't understand can be a threat to us, and most of the time we do not like it.

Lets take some examples of what a mad world we live in. Why is it that some people will argue over two inches of land, and then kill somebody because of it. Or somebody ripping off elderly people.

Okay, I realise I have not really offered much of an opinion yet, just stated a few examples. I want to provoke some debate. Perhaps you as the reader already do think about these things.

So lets talk politics. I realise some of you could decide politics is boring. well a lot of the time it is it is indeed boring, but a good part of the time it is funny. If you have ever listened to Prime Minister's question time, then you will know what I mean. It follows the same format virtually every time. Conservatives attack Labour, The Prime Minister, states how bad the Conservatives were when they were in power, albeit now over ten years ago. David Cameron asks a question. Gorden Brown changes the subject and tells the house, we have done this, we have done that.

I feel that politicians will tell you what you want to here. I don't doubt many do want to make our lives happier and better. We are now in a so called credit crunch so we are all feeling the pinch. As a kid I could never understand that if the country needed more money, why didn't they just print more of it. I know it is far more complicated than that, but if you think logically. If they printed a few more (I do mean more than just a few) you get what I am saying. More money printed more for everybody, less greed. As if that's going to happen, and like I said it is not that simple really.

What then makes you choose the politicians you want to help run the country. Is it what they say, or is it that you like their personality. I admit that if I don't like a particular Politician, I won't vote for them. There also seems to be so much sleaze attached to them. Of course it is probably just a perception as opposed to the norm, but it does not stop us distrusting all Politicians.

Are they really much different to us with their opinions. lets face it, that is what they are doing half the time, making a judgement, a decision that in their opinion is the right one for us all.

Have fun and keep smiling
